Learning the craft from his mother Liza (who owns Liza's Salon down the street), Alexander decided to break out on his own and 24 years ago, he opened Confidence Hair Salon at 134 Ottawa St. N. Maureen founded Aloft Massage Therapy in 2016 and through the Small Business Enterprise Center, she received a grant to be able to expand her business space and Lila joined her in late 2017, followed by Nancy in 2018.
