First week of Pan Am Food Central on Ottawa Street!!

Whew!!! Days 1 & 2 of Ottawa Street’s Food Central Pan Am celebrations are all wrapped up, and we couldn’t have had a better time! If you made it out, you got to enjoy food, live music, live pottery, and more! We’re doing this whole thing daily 11pm to 8pm until July 26th, so don’t miss out!! Here’s what it was like….

Thought Beneath Film rocked the music tent on Saturday, and even Jed, the famous “Hamilton Dancing Man” came to boogie to their infectious pop rock sound! We also had the amazingly talented Chuck Coles hit the stage, right after we were wowed by Kirby (who stopped by to serenade Ottawa Street before jetting off to play another show – the man’s a touring machine). We loved every minute!

Our local restaurants brought their game faces for our Pan Am celebrations too!! Dora’s came curbside, The Cannon cheered, Limoncello kicked it up a notch with their signature dishes, Pura Vida brought the Gelato, and Mike’s Subs provided a bangin’ lunch for our volunteers!

Speaking of our volunteers, they were amazing!!

We had the Mighty Luchador’s, Bombero’s Gourmet Nacho’s, The Food Network’s “Food Truck Face-Off” winners Fit To Grill, Eh Jose, Mata Petisco, Wrap-Ture, Texas Tornado, Panwich, Jonny Blonde and Choco Churros on site serving curbside from their rad trucks!! They were here rain or shine!!

Couldn’t help but notice all of our hungry Hamiltonians and guests… Enjoying sales and shops on the street… Like these $10 designer bikini’s at Orangetree Boutique, and costumed visitors from Penny Pincher Costumes Inc!!

We got the street looking beautiful with chalk… And the live pottery from Prouse Pottery and Soap Co was a fan favourite, and so was the Wiggle Waggle Walk-A-Thon, and Henna4You!

So was the live yoga outdoors with In Fine Feather Yoga!
