If you’ve spent time on Ottawa Street, you’ve likely been drawn into Granny’s Attic Treasures at 186 Ottawa Street North. The small mom and pop retro shop is whimsical and full of unexpected vintage collectors items beckoning from the front window and sidewalk displays, inspiring bargain hunting relic lovers to bring a special item home forever, like a 50’s kitchen set, tree trunk coffee tables, funky lights, gorgeous vintage crystal and even suitcase end tables.
Gil and Kathy, behind this gem of a shop, need our help now! “Sadly, our 15 year old truck desperately needs either major work or to be replaced,” they explain on their IndieGoGo campaign page. They are looking to raise a very reasonable $3,500 to get a new-to-them cargo truck, so they can continue to safely travel to acquire stock for the store. They need a set of wheels that is newer, safer and more reliable.
