Mike has always had an interest in action figures, toys, video games and comic books. Having had a collection of toys growing up, he found that there was interest and value in his collection so he began to sell at trade shows and online as well as expand his repertoire to comic books and trading cards. 27 years ago, Bounty Hunter Toys was born. His interest eventually inspired him to step away from a his day job at the age of 26, and opened up a shop in Stoney Creek.
Joining Ottawa St. N 7 years ago, he has seen his business continue to grow. Drawn to the street not only because of it’s convenient location in the city but also because it’s a nostalgic street for Mike – as a child, he used to shop on the street with family, he even remembers that his old favourite store stands where Bounty Hunter Toys is located today!!
Mike is also 1 of 3 certified appraisers for action figures in Canada, and offers an extensive amount of knowledge for comic books, video games, action figures and toys. Bounty Hunter Toys buys, sells and trades vintage toys, games and collectibles. They offer a wide range within his store, dating back to the 1960’s!
