26 years ago, the Oxford Mill Outlet on Ottawa Street N opened its doors. As a part of a larger chain in Ontario (with locations in Cambridge, St. Jacob’s, Niagara Falls and Cookstown), the Hamilton store moved from the Stipley neighbourhood to Ottawa St. N as they wanted to be a part of the textile district. Chrystal, the store manager, says she enjoys the variety of customers that come through the store. Given that the store has been on the street for over 25 years, there are a lot of regulars that shop as well as new customers due to the increase of new residents in the Crown Point neighbourhood.
They started off specializing in house linens and though that is still a major focus of their product, they have shifted towards home decor items inclusion wall art, mats and themed linens.
Oxford Mill Outlet sells bedding, towels, home decor, bathroom & kitchen linens and small appliances. They are offering a new special/sale every day in December ending on Christmas Eve.
