Darnell had always dreamed of being a hairdresser since she was a little girl and owning her own hair salon. Luckily for her, her dream came true and after hairdressing for 20 years, she opened her own salon 13 years ago at 108 Ottawa St. N.!
Originally from Toronto, Darnell was drawn to Ottawa St. N. by the variety of the street businesses, feeling that the store is able to offer so many services and by the prettiness of the Crown Point neighbourhood.
